Evolution of Pyrite Compositions at the Sizhuang Gold Deposit, Jiaodong Peninsula, Eastern China: Implications for the Genesis of Jiaodong-Type Orogenic Gold Mineralization

چکیده
Gold deposits in the Jiaodong Peninsula represent a primary gold resource China and mostly exhibit similar ore-forming features related to sericite-quartz-pyrite alteration other controls from (micro-)structural deformation. This study investigates pyrite textures trace elements Sizhuang deposit (>100 t Au) document key factors impacting on genesis of Jiaodong-type orogenic deposits. Three main types are identified: (1) first generation (Py1) occurs as disseminated euhedral subhedral grains K-feldspar-albite-rutile-hematite sericite (stage 1), (2) Py2 aggregates quartz-sericite-pyrite altered rocks or quartz-pyrite veins 2) can be subdivided into Py2a irregular cores, Py2b zoned overgrowth Py2a, Py2c early pyrite, (3) Py3 fine-grained crystals siderite-polymetallic 3). Primary at is coevally slightly later deposited with Py2b, Py2c, Py3. Laser ablation–inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA–ICP–MS) analyses show that highest Co Ni contents Py1 high but variable favors involvement deep high-temperature magmatic waters stage 1 middle 2. The elevated As depletion (e.g., Co, Ni, Te) Au/Co, Cu/Ni, As/Ni values Py3, combined published H-O isotope data, imply meteoric water ingress during 2–3. Thus, fluid evolution consequence pulsed release plus progressive ingress. rhythmic Co–As–Ni–Au bands additionally suggest episodic changes composition fluids. Moreover, sharp textural previously cataclastic crystals) As-Cu-rich Co-poor probably also reflect rapid metal deposition self-organization subsequent mineral crystal growth due pressure phase separation deposit. Considering significantly concentrated (>1300 t) regional Jiaojia fault zone Au-bearing formation (boiling) deposit, mineralization was interpreted controlled by pressure-driver owing seismic activities system.

Ore mineralogy and fluid inclusions constraints on genesis of the Muteh gold deposit (western Iran)
The Muteh gold deposit (NE of Golpaygan) in the central part of intrusive-metamorphic belt of Sanandaj-Sirjan zone comprises NW-SE trending gold-quartz vein occurred in metamorphic complex. Gold mineralization is associated with quartz veins that formed during regional deformation across the mylonitic zones in metamorphic rocks of predominantly meta-volcanic, gneiss and schist. The sulfidation ...

The Gandy gold-base metal deposit is located in Tertiary Torud-Chahshirin volcano-plutonic range, north of Central Iran. Various styles of gold mineralization occur throughout the range. Mineralization at Gandy occurs in close spatial relation with rhyolitic domes in a caldera setting in a series of narrow brecciated veins. Two mineralogically and spatially different argillic alterations have a...
